During the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 20 June 2023, Narrandera Shire Council approved Development Application DA-048-2022-2023 for the construction of an Industrial Workshop owned by Bhullar Group, at 5 Drover Place, Red Hill Industrial Estate.

Narrandera Shire Council, with consultants Moduplay Group, developed two concept designs for a playground located near the Narrandera Water Tower on Watermain Street. A community consultation held 3 May 2023 had members of the community express their preference between concepts.

The Narrandera and Carrathool Mobile Library service is an established, effective, outreach service that on a monthly timetable visits 21 fixed locations, is also used for Home Library visits to residents across both Shires and to provide services to aged care and retirement facilities.
