At the 20 April 2021 Ordinary Council meeting, Council considered a number of strategic documents for the 2021-2022 financial year.  These strategic documents include the current Delivery Program, the proposed 2021-2022 Operational Plan also details of the proposed 2021-2022 budget, proposed Capital Works budget as well as proposed fees and charges including proposed rates and charges.  

In developing the budget Council intends to increase Sewerage charges by 5% - this is to allow for the increase of services through the new sewer system at Barellan and the expansion of the Narrandera scheme into west Narrandera. The long term financial plan also includes the new water filtration plant for Narrandera estimated at $17,000,000. This may result in a slight increase in water charges scheduled for 2022-23. 

These documents are now on exhibition from 9am Wednesday 21 April 2021 and can be viewed on Council’s website or Council’s Administration Centre at 141 East Street, Narrandera. Written submissions are invited and will be received until 4pm Tuesday 18 May 2021. Persons making submissions should note that all submissions will be provided to Councillors within the Ordinary business paper which is available to all members of the community.
