Welcome to the Stronger Together Community Strategic Plan (CSP) and Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) project!
Every four years, New South Wales councils work with their communities to develop a Community Strategic Plan (CSP), which outlines the aspirations, priorities, and vision for the future. This year, Narrandera Shire Council is also reviewing the Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) to ensure that our Shire is an inclusive and accessible place for people of all abilities.
These plans are community-driven, meaning they reflect the views, ideas, and needs of all residents. While Council initiates and prepares the plans, many partners-including state agencies, businesses, and community groups-will play a key role in implementing the strategies outlines in these documents.
We want to hear from you! Key questions we're asking during the Stronger Together consultation include:
- Where are we now as a community?
- Where do we want to be in 10 years?
- How will we get there, and how will we know when we've been successful?
How can you get involved?
There are several ways you can participate in shaping Narrandera Shire's future:
- Complete our online survey for both the CSP and DIAP.
- Attend a community workshop or pop-up event happening near you.
The Stronger Together project gives us the opportunity to reflect on what we love about living in the Narrandera Shire, imagine the future we want, and map out how we'll get there. Let's work together to capture a shared vision for a stronger, more inclusive Narrandera.
