Narrandera Shire has been allocated $1,315,597 this round to build or improve existing and new infrastructure that will benefit our community of which Council is allocated $909,597 to carry out projects.
The proposed Council lead projects directly correlate to our recently developed Community Strategic Plan, as identified by the community, and include:
- An upgrade of the facilities at the Narrandera Water Tower precinct including an amenities block, barbeque area and play equipment valued at $660,000.
- The renewal of security camera systems in the central business district and popular public areas. This project is anticipated to be valued at $249,597.
The community is encouraged to consider and make submissions for projects and utilise the remaining $406,000. All community projects are to be applied for directly through the NSW Government. For more information visit this website: Stronger Country Communities Round 5
