In accordance with section 162(1) of the Roads Act 1993 and Part 2 Division 1 Regulation 7(1)(a) of the Roads Regulation 2018, Council gives notice that it proposes to name the road dedicated in a plan of subdivision of Lots 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 DP1284982 at Red Hill Estate, Narrandera.

The road is a newly constructed road in Council’s Red Hill industrial estate and the name recognises the contribution made to this community by Mr Don Drover, long standing editor of the Argus and influential volunteer to many local organisations.

A map showing the location of the road will be on display at Council’s Offices, 141 East Street, Narrandera between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.

A period of 15 working days from the date of this notice is allowed for any person to lodge a written objection to the proposed naming. Any objections should state clearly the reasons for such objections. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.
