Narrandera Shire Council is pleased to announce the upcoming Water Taste Testing events that will take place on the 15th of December 2023. The tasting events will provide an opportunity for residents and community members to participate in the evaluation of drinking water quality and taste within the shire.
The primary objective of this initiative is to gather valuable feedback from the local community and to further enhance the quality of our drinking water supply. By involving residents, Narrandera Shire Council aims to ensure that the water provided meets the desired standards and preferences of the community.
Water quality has always been a top priority for the council, and we continuously strive to maintain the highest standards. This taste-testing event aligns with our commitment to ensuring that the community has access to clean, safe, and great-tasting drinking water.
Participants at the tasting event will have the opportunity to sample different filtration scenarios from water sources from various locations within the shire. They will evaluate each sample based on taste, odour, clarity, and overall satisfaction. Feedback collected during the event will be carefully analysed and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve water quality and taste.
The Water Taste Testing event will take place on the 15th of December, from 10am – 2pm at Keisling Lane, and 5.30pm - 6.30pm at the Emergency Operations Centre on Twynam Street. The night time session will require registration through Eventbrite:
